Welcome:)

Hi, I'm Natasha!

Founder of SoCal Fibers

I taught myself punch needle in January of 2020.  What I learned was that the slow rhythmic punching helped to quiet my busy mind and I fell in love.  Over the course of 6 years, I’ve had so much fun creating pieces that stand out.

The tools and material I use for my art are of the highest quality.  Wool yarn is my primary fiber but I love to incorporate others  like raffia, twine and silk.  I use the traditional method of punch needle, a process similar to rug hooking, where yarn (or any kind of continuous fiber) is pushed through a backing fabric to create loops.  These loops are pressed together tightly holding each other in place to create the foundation of each piece.  I love Amy Oxford's punch needle tool for pushing the yarn through and cotton monks cloth for my foundation fabric. For more information on my material and tools, please email me.

My hope is that you find a piece of art that speaks to you.  When you hang it on your wall, people will gravitate towards it and conversations will begin.

If you want to know when we drop new pieces or if you want access to our sale page, sign up for the email list.  We don’t want you to miss out!
